Listening for the Sacred in Everyday Life
Life often brings seasons of joy, growth, uncertainty, transition, loss, and longing. During these times, many people find themselves seeking a deeper connection with God, a greater sense of meaning, or simply a compassionate person to walk beside them.
Spiritual direction and grief companioning offer a safe, supportive space to slow down, listen deeply, and explore the sacred movements of the heart and soul.
Whether you are navigating a life transition, experiencing grief, discerning an important decision, deepening your spiritual life, or searching for peace and clarity, you do not have to walk the journey alone.
Spiritual direction is a sacred conversation focused on your relationship with God and the ways the Divine is present and active in your life.
Unlike counseling, coaching, or advice-giving, spiritual direction is not about fixing problems or telling you what to do. Instead, it is a prayerful process of listening and discernment that helps you become more aware of God's presence, guidance, and invitations within your everyday experiences.
Together, we explore questions such as:
Spiritual direction honors your unique spiritual path and creates space for reflection, prayer, sacred listening, and deeper awareness.
It is not about having all the answers.
It is about becoming more attentive to the wisdom, grace, and guidance already unfolding within your life.
Each session is a gentle and prayerful conversation centered on your spiritual journey.
Together, we may explore:
Sessions may include prayer, scripture reflection, silence, contemplative practices, or simply compassionate listening.
There is no pressure to perform, explain, or have everything figured out. You are invited to come exactly as you are.
Spiritual direction may be helpful if you are:
People from many faith traditions—and those who are simply seeking a deeper spiritual life—can benefit from spiritual direction.
Grief companioning is the practice of walking alongside someone who is experiencing loss with compassion, presence, and respect.
In our culture, grieving people are often encouraged to "move on," "stay busy," or "be strong." Yet grief asks something different of us. It asks us to honor the love, the loss, and the life-changing impact of what has been experienced.
Grief companioning recognizes that grief is not a problem to be solved. It is a sacred journey to be honored.
As a grief companion, I do not seek to fix your grief or rush your healing. Instead, I provide a safe and supportive space where your story can be shared, your emotions can be expressed, and your experience can be witnessed with compassion.
Together, we create room for:
Grief companioning honors the reality that healing does not mean forgetting. Love continues. Connection continues and healing can unfold while still honoring what has been lost.
Grief companioning may be helpful for those experiencing:
Whether your loss occurred recently or many years ago, your grief deserves compassionate attention and care.
One of the greatest privileges of my ministry has been walking alongside people during some of life's most sacred and vulnerable moments.
Whether through spiritual direction, grief companioning, support groups, workshops, prayer, or individual sessions, my hope is to provide a place where you feel heard, supported, and gently encouraged.
You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. Together, we can create space for healing, reflection, spiritual growth, and the discovery of peace even in the midst of life's uncertainties. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
